TIA CHUCHA’S -- A DREAM OF COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT
Tia Chucha’s began as a dream. With hard work and dedication, it became a reality in 2001. Since then, our cultural wellness center and bookstore transforms the lives of thousands of individuals and families all year round.
Self-aware communities forge a stronger, more imaginative wellspring of people who together can create a more healthy environment for themselves and others.
Moved by a hunger for meaning and change, we are a creative hub of giving and receiving. Children make music, youth become active leaders, adults rediscover their creative selves, “non-readers” fall in love with books, new poets, artists and change agents learn to share their beauty and truths. Here, everyone may embrace their worth and gifts to evolve into fuller versions of their authentic selves.

It takes vision, heart and valuable contributions, paid and unpaid, to sustain a unique space like Tia Chucha’s, “Where Art & Minds Meet--For A Change”. Our Dream Makers Circle is a way for anyone to invest in Tia Chucha’s cause of making transformative arts and literacy accessible as a human right.
Being rooted in community means everything to us. In 2021 Tia Chucha’s turns 20 years old. To celebrate this hard-won milestone, we invite everyone to join us in rallying minimum donation pledges of $20 a month from as many supporters as possible.
We count on this growing circle of Dream Makers donors to help Tia Chucha’s continue its legacy of providing free-to-low cost creative engagement through cultural arts and literacy experiences to area residents and beyond.
