End of Year Fundraising Campaign

As we reach the end of 2023, we reflect on the many gifts and joys the last 22 years have brought us. Nurturing the dream of transforming the Northeast San Fernando Valley and beyond through ancestral knowledge, the arts, literacy, and creative engagement is made possible through the support of our community.

From a cafe to a full-fledged cultural and community center, our exponential growth is thanks to your generous contributions that have shaped Tia Chucha’s Centro Cultural to what it is today. This year we are highlighting the impact our Trauma to Transformation program is making in our community. In 2018, we launched Trauma to Transformation to empower and honor the youth and adults impacted by incarceration through the arts. We have witnessed the transformative power that creative writing, theater, ancestral knowledge, and art has had on the trajectory of incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals, breaking the cycle of recidivism and providing a path towards a bright future.

Your generous contribution towards our annual end of year fundraising campaign will support Tia Chucha’s in expanding and strengthening programs, such as Trauma to Transformation, that are dedicated to empower and nurture the resilient generations of individuals and families in our community.
